Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well famous for her performances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her range of talents by appearing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Anna's character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big break. The performance she made in the biographical movie All the Way as the women's right activists Fannie Lou Hammer was a major draw for the notice of the general public. Hind was also recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's scheduled to be released in mid-2019. Her star-power and elegance were brought to the premier major film in English. Following the release of Provoked: A True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and was a part of the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, co-star who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most powerful people together.
